tabor + courtney // something old and something new

tabor’s parent’s watched . . .

their son stand under the same tree they had been married under 24 years before.

Courtney, the soon-to-be Mrs. Belcher, got ready with her ladies in an upstairs studio of her aunt’s house. Sunlight spilled in as finishing touches were put on her bridal look. In just a few moments, she would be walking down the aisle to her high school sweetheart.

Tabor’s cousin fastened pearls on Courtney- the pearls belonged to their grandmother (pictured on the right).

the whole crew

These groomsmen photos were something else! I knew most of the guys from high school, so they had no problem being crazy & fun even in front of the camera.

The bridesmaids photos were not as wild, but lovely instead. I loved capturing all the girls and their excitement.

first look

These are always the sweetest moments!

the ceremony

Smaller, intimate weddings are always so special. The laid-back feeling is my favorite. Courtney walked through two white doors and down the aisle to her soon to be husband. There were songs, prayers, laughter & tears. They tied a large rope hanging from the tree for their unity ceremony which was such a neat idea.

can we talk about the fact that these two cut their cake with a sword?

The mother-son dance

turned into a groomsmen-flashmob

the father-daughter dance

sweet as could be

Tabor and Courtney’s dance was next level. I seriously felt like we were watching a dancing with the stars performance.

we snuck away for a moment after the ceremony

to capture the joy between these two. As the sun set, friend and family danced and celebrated the start of forever for Tabor and Courtney.

beth + nate // their heartfelt barn wedding

Beth and Nate said “I do”

in an open, Kansas field behind a crimson red barn on a sunny day- a day full of teary eyes, heartfelt moments, and crazy joy.

The girls started in a hotel room full of panera sandwiches and makeup. Sadie (@styled.bysadie) twisted and curled hair in the most lovely way as everyone else laughed, drank coffee, and even snuck in a bit of The Office.

Meanwhile, the guys had fun of their own by exploring the barn and getting in a quick game of corn-hole.

As the ceremony approached, Beth and Nate snuck away for a moment to themselves. Although they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, they still wanted to exchange the sweetest vows to each other. They reach for each others’ hands and slowly spoke words of love and excitement to each other. HAPPY TEARS.

Finally, the moment for Beth to walk down the aisle came. As she made her way across the field, Nate was overwhelmed with emotion. After prayers, more happy tears, and a unity knot tying, the two were finally declared husband + wife. The Andersons shared a kiss and excitedly walked down the aisle together, into a life of forever together.
